Ethics for interpreters - PDA1013
The online PD workshop examines the ethical complexities of the interpreter’s work in relation to the AUSIT Code of Ethics, as well as the ASLIA Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. The workshop analyses ethical concepts, their practical application to interpreting work, and best practice for interpreters in ethically challenging scenarios.

A professional development short course examining best practice when working in ethically challenging scenarios, in relation to the AUSIT Code of Ethics. You will analyse ethical concepts and their practical application to interpreting.
Designed to be completed on your own time, the course includes presentations from leading academics and professionals in the field, short online quizzes, real-life simulated podcasts, short self-reflections and online discussions with your peers.
These activities must be completed within a two weeks period, successful participants are able to claim 20 PD points towards NAATI recertification.
A Certificate of Completion will be issued to those that meet the requirements of the course.
