Family Violence Interpreting Level 1 - PDA1018
This program comprises over four hours of self-directed learning. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be eligible to earn 20 PD Points (Section 1.5) of the NAATI Recertification Professional Development Catalogue. A Certificate of Completion will be issued to those that meet the requirements of the course. This professional development short course is delivered with the support of the State Government of Victoria through Family Safety Victoria and the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing.
This short course is intended for interpreters who have commenced working or who plan to work in settings involving cases of family violence. The course provides an introduction to the various facets of working in family violence settings, discusses best practice for interpreting in this field and features guest presentations from experts.
Fees
$50 Bursary (Open only to current Victorian residents who have been affected financially or otherwise by the COVID-19 pandemic)
