The Monash Bachelor of Fine Art Honours degree is a prestigious program in the discipline and practice of Fine Art for high achieving students who have completed a relevant undergraduate degree.
You will have the opportunity to broaden your network while working with leading academics, researchers and artists and historians in the field of Fine Art at one of Australia's leading research universities. You will have access to specialised workshops, studios, spaces, the Library and all its resources, as well as a trio of galleries from MADA Gallery, Intermission Gallery and Monash University Museum of Art and its unique collection of contemporary Australian Art and exhibition program.
In this Honours year, you will undertake a combination of coursework and research, producing an independent research project in Fine Art Studio or Art History and Theory, in your selected area of specialisation. Your research will be developed through working closely with a supervisor who will provide you with individual guidance and academic counselling.
At the end of the year you will exhibit your work to industry, the Melbourne art community, family and friends at MADA Now our annual graduate exhibition.
