Throughout the course, you will explore the history, power and role of journalism in local and global contexts, and debate the challenges and vital issues surrounding journalism today. Develop essential skills in critical thinking, writing and presenting for multicultural settings which will enhance your career, as being able to write clearly and succinctly to communicate your story is highly regarded in every industry. You will also build core versatile skills in research and reporting for a global society, and learn how the detail in writing differs across digital media technologies and formats. By the end of the course, you will have sharpened your critical communication, research and interview skills, and the ability to critically analyse what you uncover.

Qualifications
An Australian bachelor degree with at least 50 percent average, or equivalent qualification approved by the faculty.
English requirements
Applicants must also meet the English language requirements.
University entrance requirements
Minimum entrance requirements for admission to Monash University Australia.
Students complete 24 points which provide knowledge, skills, attitudes and values required of skilled practitioners working in a range of fields addressing journalism, communication and media studies.
