Indigenous Science Research Grant

Indigenous Science Research Grant

The Indigenous Science Research Grant enables students to gain experience at the intersection between science research, science communication, and science education working in some way around the topic of Indigenous Science.

This experience is for any student interested in this area, not just those interested in continuing with research as there is a lot to learn by doing your own project which can translate into increasing your job readiness and helping you with your studies.

The project will be worked out with the individual student depending on their interests and project availability at the time. You might join fieldwork or work on developing learning materials to add Indigenous Science to the curriculum in your classes. You might look at how students respond to the idea of Indigenous Science or research how to communicate your ideas and learnings.

We are also happy to work with community organisations if you would like to work with a community organisation that you are associated with.
