Jack Huynh: Give back and enhance your Monash experience

Jack Huynh has been an Access Monash Mentor since 2013. He was previously mentored through the program as a Year 12 student at Hampton Park Secondary College.

“The most rewarding aspect of being a mentor is sharing my experiences about university and answering questions from students with interest in the fields I’m studying,” he says. “It feels good to be able to help my mentees get a better understanding of university and their goals for the future.”

Jack says his work with Access Monash has been an integral part of his university experience. “I have advanced into the role of Mentor Leader, which has provided me with personal development opportunities while enhancing my portfolio of university experiences that I can use to help enrich my mentoring of high school students.”
