Ayesha Singh - Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws
"I have taken advantage of Science's flexibility by starting out very broad. In my first year I studied biology, chemistry and physics, before I decided to major in physiology.
I took a broad-to-narrow approach and I absolutely love my course.I chose a double degree because I could combine things I love and am passionate about. It is a really diverse course and I have been able to pick subjects from both areas that intersect with the other, for example looking at legal issues in medicine, or the marketing of pharmaceuticals."
David Macindoe -Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts
"The biggest thing I have learned through being a Science student is that science is a way of thinking and questioning. It's about to finding the truth using scientific methods, not just remembering a body of knowledge. My double degree has given me the opportunity to delve into areas beyond science, including French and American history. After this degree, I'll do a degree in secondary education."
Lucinda Mullins - Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Law
"The great thing about science that I have realised since coming to Monash is how broad it is. I never had a clue of what I want to be. Now, having done law and science, I am interested in scientific patenting or combining science with communications or journalism. Having the freedom to try out so many different things has been great."
Samuel de Boer - Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Science
I have always been interested in tinkering with complex devices, breaking them apart and studying how they operate, so engineering seemed like the perfect career for me. I couldn't decide whether to study mechanical or electrical and computer systems engineering - so I decided to do both!"
