Three units taught by the broad team of MSDI educators have been acknowledged as ‘outstanding’ in terms of overall satisfaction over 2017/18.

The following units have received ‘purple’ status which indicates a total median score of 4.7 or above out of 5 in Monash University’s student evaluation of teaching and units (SETU) results.

The units are:

  • ENS5520 Understanding human behaviour to influence change
  • ENS5530 Leading change for sustainable development
  • BEX3150 Sustainability practice and organisations

The first two units are part of the Master of Environment and Sustainability’s ‘Leadership for Sustainable Development’ specialist stream. The third unit is a capstone offered within the Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Business degrees.

The results reflect a commitment by MSDI's team of educators to excellence and engaged learning. Prof Sue Elliott, Deputy VC, Education stated “it’s a clear demonstration of the effort, creativity and skills applied to ensure our students are immersed in a transformative learning experience”.
