Emer Casey Fun Run

Enjoy the carnival feel of the Emer Casey Fun Run, while raising funds for ovarian cancer research at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

The event is named after Emer Casey, a native of County Cork in Ireland. Emer's life was cut short in 2006 when she was diagnosed with ovarian/uterine cancer at the age of 27. She died just 3 and a half months later, 4 days after her 28th birthday. Her death had a profound effect on those who knew her, and they set up the Emer Casey Foundation in her honour.
