Interventions: Lifestyle & Technology
We are dedicated to developing exciting new approaches to the assessment and treatment of addictive and compulsive conditions, focusing less on the behaviour and more on tailored interventions addressing the core cognitive-affective processes.
Our work in this area is now undertaken at BrainPark, our new cutting-edge clinical research platform. BrainParkis the world’s first research facility to offer lifestyle and technology-based interventions for compulsive disorders including addictions and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Using this unique facility, we are undertaking studies and research trials investigating the utility of interventions (such as physical exercise, meditation, cognitive training, therapeutic virtual reality, and non-invasive brain stimulation) as prevention and intervention for those affected by addictive and compulsive conditions.
