Speciality Spaces
Speciality Spaces
Monash is proud to display it's world class speciality spaces which exhibit the best in infrastructure and elegance.
Chancellery
Positioned in the heart of campus, beside the iconic Sir Robert Blackwood Hall and adjacent to The Ian Potter Centre for Performing Arts and Monash Religious Centre, the Chancellery represents the University’s heritage, values and culture. Featuring salvaged items from the preceding 1960s University Offices, alongside new features like the artist columns representing different aspects of Monash’s identity and culture. The revitalised Chancellery delivers modern, contemporary spaces that provide better opportunities to collaborate and engage with the University community and partners.
Intended to be an inspiring space, the Chancellery’s refurbishment has been done in a way that is sensitive to its environmental footprint and proudly contributes to Monash’s 2030 Net Zero emissions target. With the climate crisis a key strategic priority for Monash and front-of-mind for the next generations of change makers, it’s vital that our buildings speak to a sustainable future.
