George Ou

A Certified Practising Accountant, Mr Ou holds masters-level qualifications in Finance, Professional Accounting, and Business Administration. His finance experience at the University spans the past two decades, in areas including budgeting, costing, financial resources management, financial and business analytics, research and revenue accounting, and partnering with research teams.

As Executive Director, Financial Resources Management Division (FiRM), George Ou leads the team responsible for developing and managing Monash’s budget and monitoring the University’s financial performance.  FiRM also provides expert advice and assistance to the university community on a range of financial management services including budgeting, funds management, financial analysis and cash flow forecasting.  The team also undertakes business case modelling, activity-based costing analysis and manages the University’s financial systems.
