William Cooper Institute
The William Cooper Institute oversees the development of targeted strategies to increase the participation of Indigenous students across the country.
The Institute connects research, learning and engagement for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities through the establishment of a ‘hub-and-spoke’ model of Indigenous leadership and participation across and within the University.

William Cooper Institute
The William Cooper Institute personifies a new chapter in our Indigenous story. It brings together our shared vision, ambitions and capability for change, creating a platform for reconciliation and positive change-making in our nation’s culture, identity and capacity.

Monash Indigenous Access Pathway
There is more than one way to become a Monash student. The MIAP program is designed to support Indigenous applicants in making a successful transition to university study. This scholarship funded program can help you enter your degree of choice.

Indigenous Leaders Program
This year-long program equips selected Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students with the confidence and skills to lead effectively. The program connects participants with Indigenous leaders and Elders from the local community, and offers a unique international study tour to help develop global skills and experiences.
