About the exhibition
Making Monash: A Twenty-five Year Pictorial History marked the Silver Jubilee of Monash University with both an exhibition and a companion publication.

To celebrate this milestone, the Departments of Visual Arts and History collaborated to produce a pictorial history that reflected on the University’s first twenty-five years. The project explored the founding and establishment of a new Victorian university, its architectural development and master planning, as well as its theatre and gallery programs, art collection, early commissions and public sculpture.
