Under the Wire

Thursday 13 – Saturday 15 October 2016, 7.30pm
Monash University, Caulfield Campus
Food and Pop-Up Bar presented by MJR Tom and DC Coffee from 5pm
Duration: 2 hrs 30 mins, no interval

What lights glow in hidden spaces? What sounds echo in darkness? Dive beneath the surface of things in a pulsating program of moving images and live music.

For 3 nights the stairwells and byways of the dynamic art and design precinct at Monash University’s Caulfield Campus will be taken over by moving image, light and sound in this unique project curated by James Hewison, at ACMI.

Witness new work by Australia’s most prolific and surprising documentary filmmaker, Amiel Courtin-Wilson; Super 8 chronicler of the margins, Rick Charnoski; and the poet of cinematic decay, Bill Morrison. In addition, a series of performances by Peter Knight and James Savage and live improvisations by students from the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music will take place.

Presented in association with Monash Academy of Performing Arts, Monash University Museum of Art and Monash Art Design and Architecture and Melbourne Festival.
