Australian campus based candidates and all Professorial candidates:
Step 1: Complete the relevant case for promotion form in accordance with the relevant procedure:
Step 2: Prepare attachments in accordance with the relevant procedure:
- Research Achievement Record;
- Student Evaluation Record (if applicable);
- Summative Peer Review of Teaching (if applicable); and
- Supporting evidence pages.
Step 3: Once your form is completed, with all required sections and signatures, click on the "Apply online now" button on the academic promotion website to lodge your final application online. There is a guide available to assist you with the online lodgment process. Refer to the Online Application Lodgment - REX Instruction Guide (currently under review).
Applications for promotion to Level B may be submitted at any time throughout the year. Applications for promotion to Levels C, D and E must be submitted during the academic promotion round.
Malaysia candidates (excluding Professorial candidates):
Step 1: Complete the relevant case for promotion form in accordance with the relevant procedure:
Step 2: Prepare attachments in accordance with the relevant procedure:
- Malaysia: Research Achievement Record Form;
- Student Evaluation Record (if applicable);
- Summative Peer Review of Teaching (if applicable); and
- Supporting evidence pages.
Step 3: Complete the Application for Promotion Cover Page: Malaysia Levels B-D
Step 4: Once your form is completed, with all required sections and signatures, email your application, along with your attachments, to the Malaysia promotion coordinator.
