Monash University is undertaking a global search for its next Dean of the Faculty of Education.

Reporting to the Provost and Senior Vice-President, the Dean, Faculty of Education will provide inspiring leadership to the Faculty; motivating exemplary culture and performance, advancing its high standards of excellence and impact in education and research, and ensuring important contributions are made to the achievement of the University's goals in Impact 2030.

The Dean will collaborate across faculties and campuses, take a lead role in developing partnerships with government, industry and community globally, and will partner with alumni and donors to build imperative relationships for the Faculty’s future success.

The successful candidate will possess a passion for education, a strong track record of leadership and achievement, and a forward-thinking, global perspective. They will have a distinguished record of excellence in research and scholarship and an academic reputation of the highest quality. The next Dean will demonstrate success in forging international and community partnerships, and in influencing national and international policy debates. A natural collaborator and visionary leader, the Dean will continue to inspire flourishing talent and culture, and bolster the Faculty’s position at the forefront of local and global education, research and industry engagement.
