A trip to an escape

The fragmentation of the air bnb, enables one to engage with the outdoors while moving from one room to the other, the enclosed glass ensures outdoor environments will not directly affect any of the inhabitants, while projecting a view of the scenery surrounding.

" The Onsen and Sauna"

The sauna takes a similar form as the Air BnB introducing a series of curves with strip lights embedded as well. Above the slits of the sauna, we have crystalised yellow feature which allows for light to pass through, while creating beautiful water-like movements on the floor of the sauna. On the way to the sauna, we have a slitted hallway which allows for the sun to create strip shadows throughout the hallway, with strip lighting by night.
Contrasting the sauna, we have an outdoor Onsen, open to the walnut trees, aiming to provide natures beautiful views
and Onsen are each placed on either side of the

The Husk

594 x 841 mm
The husk, consists of a series of pods, imbedded into ground surrounded by a series of tree lights. A combination of the hard walnut shaped exterior, the memory foam cushioning and the petal shell allows for a place of silence for a maximum of two people, while integrating within the environment. It can be a place of solitude or privacy to read, sleep , or simple observe nature in a reclined position.
