My project is based on the study and investigation of the ecological system to redefine the planning, from the micro and macro double-level understanding of the relationship between architecture and biological, move the existing obstacles by dismantling, and improving ecological construction to maintain the ecosystem regeneration principle, and protection of cultural heritage.

The reinstalled project is located in Westfield Doncaster car park. Through the interaction with the community, it provides convenient repair services for surrounding, also cooperates with other reconstruction projectsn carried out at the same time to strengthen the interaction and cohesion of the community.

PERSPECTIVE-REPAIR CENTRE

The main services and programs of the project are to provide the community with repair tools, repair studios, and working spaces. The repair tools are provided by share and rental in order to save financial resources and increase community interaction. The main partition of the project is composed of gauze curtains. The purpose is to ensure the continuity of the space, to carry out flexible partitions, while playing the role of sound insulation, and to avoid the noisy maintenance environment to disturb the repair course.

TOOL RENTAL SERVICE

A shared tool area composed of toolboxes of different specifications aims, to provide a convenient tool use environment for people in the community, make tool use more flexible, avoid a large number of tool purchases, and increase the interaction of people in the community.

REPAIR STUDIO

This service mainly provides courses for the learning of repair skills. The staff of the repair centre provides face-to-face repair teaching, mainly for the repair of small items, such as mobile phones, computers and other electronic products. The circular table shortens the distance staff have to travel and increases the opportunity for students to meet face to face.

WORKSHOP(MESSY)

The workshop area mainly provides space for messy maintenance services. The tables are made of recycled wood and can accommodate 12 people at the same time. Repairable items include small furniture (stools, shelves, etc.), electronics (computers, screens, speakers , etc.), toys, etc.

WORKSHOP

To provide a repair environment and atmosphere for the people of the community, while connecting the other projects (studio, exhibition, office, residence), providing convenient facilities and strengthening the purpose of the design.

CAFE

Provide coffee and other drinks around the community, increase leisure services in addition to repair, and enhance the functionality of the area .
