In order to better integrate the café with diplomatic activities, the creation of different spaces was the focus of this project. The presence of the Diplomatic Café has increased the number of venues for diplomatic events and linked the different types of cafes on the ground floor. The different cafes operate simultaneously, independently and as a whole.

The shape and design concept around the café-consulate this project. Integrating the café into the consulate makes it a welcoming and inspiring civic building and symbolises the positive development of Melbourne's coffee culture.
