'"IT'S MORE THAN A..." gif'

For my campaign, I wanted to raise awareness of melanoma cancer in Australia by reimagining the Australian slogan 'SLIP SLOP SLAP'. Although this iconic slogan encourages great UV protection habits, it fails to inform people of the importance of getting moles checked and having regular medical skin examinations. My campaign encourages a younger audience to rethink what it means to be a 'sunsmart' person and how getting your skin medically checked each year is vital. I targeted my campaign towards a younger audience so I created an animated GIF to be applied to social media platforms and used bold bright colours that would attract the younger eye.

The SKIN TRUCK

The main part of my activation is the 'SKIN VAN'. This van is to visit a range of Australian beaches over summer and offer free skin checks for anyone of any age. A dermatologist will have a look at any suspicious moles and give advice as to where they should visit to get them checked.

Street posters

This poster features a QR by which someone can scan which will then lead them to the instagram page full of information about the campaign

Social media page

This is the Instagram page whereby the user can find information about the campaign, where the van will be during summer, how they can get involved and the importance of skin cancer checks this summer

Beach billboard

This is a mocked up billboard that is near the beach, aimed to gather people towards the SKIN TRUCK as it visits each beach
