"Thera-Build" is a sensory-focused, non-medical tool designed for children with ASD. The design gives children and young adults on the autism spectrum the agency to combat the difficulties of treatment rooms. The healthcare environment can be a traumatic experience due to the overload of sensory information and its unpredictable nature. Thera-Build tackles this issue by giving the user the ability to customize their sensory experience by joining different components together to create a bespoke sound and lighting experience. Thera-Build aims to create an efficient and calming healthcare experience for both the child and the network around them.
