Chaoqiong Ren

Chaoqiong Ren, study and research and space design. During the three-year work at the university, I am paid attention to social issues and advocated sustainable development and environmental protection. Everyone's definition of beauty is different. I am good at reorganising the space, feeling the atmosphere in the space, and combining people's senses and feelings with the space.

FUTURISTIC FILTRATION

How can spatial practice influence social awareness around gluten-based food, for a healthier community through a caution and observed dining experience? Food allergy rates have risen in the world over the past 30 years. Gluten, the main component of wheat protein, is one of the most serious allergens. With that comes a lot of gluten-free foods, but they often lack many essential nutrients. In the future, how healthy and practical wheat products can be used for users, is a social issue that needs everyone's attention.

FLEETING RIVER

The rapid development of society has led to the deterioration of the environment. Among them, the problem of rivers has become more and more serious. A series of problems such as oil pollution and garbage pollution have brought colour to the originally clear river water. Can we protect our homes from now on?

CHANGING BUBBLES

What are the changes in temperature at different heights? How can the environment be expressed through the design of the installation? When the temperature gets higher, the bubbles get bigger and bigger, so what does global warming do to us in our environment?

SPONGE POCKETS

Beans, stones, cotton, foam paper, flowers, etc. can be seen everywhere in life. Have we paid any serious attention to them? Utilising the multi-sensory experience to feel the little things in life, when touched, squeezed and kneaded. I used hemp rope to tie pockets of different sizes and materials to my hands to wash the dishes, allowing a feeling of different touches and sounds.

CAGE

It's important to pay attention to the natural environment, and when my wearable cage and I are walking in filthy environments, they seem out of place. The rubbish around me and my plants are all wrapped up, and I would like to appeal to everyone to protect the environment.
