As a spatial designer, I try to figure out how to connect space and people together. In my latest project, I have taken a deep look at the theme of food, which has a strong connection to humans, and connected it to space
Dream Restaurant
Our lives are filled with countless junk food, this delicious junk food is made through a process, and to a certain extent added with different chemicals, these chemicals are digested by the body, and gradually have a negative impact on human health. So, is there a way or space where we can enjoy these junk foods without the disturbance of chemicals? The intention of my project is to create the purest and cleanest junk food experience where people can indulge themselves indefinitely and allow the pleasurable experience of eating fast food while not disturbed by any external factors
Question Research
The negative effects of junk food on our bodies have led to an increasing number of chronic diseases and an increased risk of cancer. This negative impact includes all age groups, elderly, children and adults. According to experts' analysis of the junk food manufacturing industry, the demand for junk food will gradually rise, which means more and more junk food will be manufactured, and more junk food will be consumed by people who will eat and absorb it. So is there any way to save our body from these chemicals?
Hero image (Everyone can indulge in unlimited burgers)
People sit in their seats and enjoy the burgers in their hands as the food conveyor belt moves slowly and a steady stream of burgers appear on the conveyor belt to supply the people.
Isometric view (ground level+level one)
Ground level: The staff in the kitchen will make and provide a steady stream of hamburgers to reach the second floor via a conveyor belt. The fitting room functions as a place where people can change into specialized smart suits, these suits work to scan for chemicals in the human body. Level 1: Once they reach the upper level, where people can consume unlimited hamburgers. The food conveyor belt will slowly rotate and they can sit on chairs that will move and can enjoy as many hamburgers as possible, until they are satisfied. Immediately after, they walk into the apparatus to remove the hamburger chemicals from the body.
Perspective: Walk to the apparatus to clean the body
People thoroughly clean their bodies inside the apparatus, and become free from the aggression of junk food within their body. This special restaurant that serves junk food is becoming more and more popular. Our love and dependence on junk food has led to the development of this amazing restaurant.
Perspective (Mirror material flooring)
On the upper floor, I used an interesting material for the floor, and this material is mirror. This is because people can indulge themselves in this space and enjoy the pure pleasure of junk food (unlimited hamburgers). The mirrors will bring that infinite effect, where the mirrored floor will reflect when people are eating junk food, and now they can fully see how they indulge themselves.
