I've always harboured a passion for art. The stack of restaurant tissues containing impatient 'hurry-up-with-my-food-please' doodles my mum keeps to this very day is testament to that. In school, my exercise books accommodated more art than any maths workbook should.
I’m a Multimedia Specialist with a passion for developing characters that bring stories to life. I lean heavily towards Procreate, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. Having produced projects in both 2D and 3D has helped me overcome many challenges that I never imaged I could before. The 'fist-pump' sense of accomplishment is like no other, and I'll never tire of chasing it.
'Over A Cup'
"Over A Cup is my original interpretation on a painful past, inspired from this quote from renowned Japanese novelist, Haruki Murakami: “Memories warm you up from the inside, but they also tear you apart.”
The memories I allude to here are the ones that never seem to stop coming back to haunt. The pain is constant, and every time the tear is almost healed, it starts afresh. Every scene was created by hand. Animation was done in Procreate, using the frame by frame technique. Final composition brought together in After Effects.
"Transport yourself into the future, where technology lies at the tips of your fingers. A motion graphic I created based on the model of Apple’s iPad 2020. Modelling, animation and lighting done in Cinema4D. Composited and fine tuned in After Effects.
"Electro-funk, pop, ballads. . . immerse yourself in the world of music with this channel trailer I made for a production company centred around interviews, documentaries and live music. This was an extremely enjoyable project for me, despite the tedious hand drawn frame by frame animation style as I always favour animating to music/soundtracks. I especially liked that I got to include some of my favourite artists. Do you recognise them too?

"Organic, ethical and delicious! With the slogan, “Sayuna brings you the best”, this advertisement is my contemporary take on organic farming and food processing.
This project brief was quite stringent. We weren't allowed to change the font, and we were given a list of products to advertise, but it was definitely a rich experience for me. I generated my very first green screen in Cinema4D and was able to come up with this short but sweet advertisement.

"It began with a call to action. With only four populations left in Victoria, Australia’s ‘Alpine She-oak Skink’ was dangerously close to going extinct, and the only way to help was to contribute by all means possible. This was my first animated campaign intended to spread awareness and encouragement.
The best part about this was that I got to create my very own little skink character who I named Blue. I animated this frame by frame in Procreate, then composed the final product in After Effects.
In the spirit of reconciliation Monash University acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
