For me, art and self care/ self discovery goes hand in hand. My practice has always been a way for me to work through and express what I'm dealing with in my personal life. With this project my main intention was to just enjoy the process of making and learning new skills. It focuses on the experimental and an appreciation of materiality as I work my way through unlearning what I know a "finished" and "good" artwork should look like.

Miniature Sculpture made of air dry clay, skewers, wire, and epoxy resin Whilst exploring the theme of existentialism, these works allowed me to work through feelings of not wanting to exist, and grow into learning to be okay with simply existing.

Miniature Sculpture made of foam board, cardboard, plastic, and air dry clay I allow myself to enjoy my moments of rest. I allow myself to experience the feeling of having the world stop for a while, so that I have space to breathe.
