Mount Dandenong Primary School is situated adjacent to the Mount Dandenong Tourist Road in the low alpine area of the Yarra Ranges, 44 km east from Melbourne CBD within the great dividing range. The addition of a kindergarten for the local school and community will provide an opportunity for Mount Dandenong Primary to expand their intake and extend their school community to early learning years. Offering an integrated kinder program for years 3-4 will provide the children of the community with a nurturing, secure, and stimulating learning environment that eases their transition toward formalised education.
