This strategy was developed as part of a group project that aimed to achieve inclusive jobs growth in an industrial site in Huntingdale. I proposed that we leverage the existing anchor institutions close by, including Monash University, CSIRO and Monash Medical Centre, to focus expertise and funding on developing pathways to upskilling and reskilling for workers in the precinct.

As part of our initial analysis of an industrial site in Huntingdale, I analysed key economic and social data to find meaningful trends that would help us plan for inclusive jobs growth in the precinct. This included information about the incomes of residents and workers in the area, as well as the types of jobs that exist in the precinct and their growth or decline over time.
