Sensory overload is often experienced by individuals with ADHD and ASD, one of the most common relating to sound. In addition, certain sounds or frequencies can cause them pain or discomfort, consequently impacting their concentration, focus and overall wellbeing.

Therefore, I have devised a concept that, unlike traditional earplugs that muffle all sound, passively reduces the volume of sound and targets certain frequencies that causes the user discomfort. This ultimately allows users to engage with the world around them while managing their sound triggers, and importantly, in an affordable way.

"Seasos"

The brand name. Seasos is a passive noise reduction earplug that allows users to experience sounds that they usually find uncomfortable at a reduced volume.

Seasos targets specific frequency ranges that cause discomfort. Made from silicone with porous foam inserts to dampen sound.

Carry Case

The seasos case included can attach to a keychain for convenient access wherever and whenever you need it.

Context Use

For use in noisy environments, for concentration, or generally where there is a noise stimulus that you find disturbing.
