"Design means breaking things". To me, design is an experiment in seeking better solutions.
I’m Haoyu Wang, an ID student who worked on a project to enhance urban commuting, aimed to design a new e-scooter, offering people an alternative travel option in congested cities and contributing to lower carbon emissions.
The TUXEDO e-scooter is a versatile solution for urban commuting. It's foldable, deformable, and equipped with a cargo loading system. Ideal for daily needs, it can transform into a shopping cart for indoor environments. This e-scooter is suitable for most occasions——commuting from work, grocery shopping, or even carrying beer to your friend's party——Instead of calling an Uber!
Outstanding Project: Mobility

View 2. Shopping cart mode
the scooter can transformed into a shopping cart, adapting to different indoor environments. Instead of parking your e-scooter outside and worrying about it, simply just use it as a shopping cart!
View 3. In-use, riding mode.
Triple wheel design with the back cargo system makes sure the ride is sturdy and safe.
View 4. In-use, shopping cart mode.
Owns excellent cargo carrying capacity.
View 5. Two-button deformation system.
The scooter can transformed into a shopping cart or back to riding mode just by simply pushing two buttons. The left one is for folding the main frame, and the right one is for extending the handle for shopping cart mode.
