Chidanwan Xue

This innovative concept stems from my expectation to reduce the reliance on single-use waste bags. Eco-Buddy Bin is a multi-functional garbage classification solution. However, through my research, many people still face challenges when it comes to effective garbage sorting. To solve this problem, I installed a QR code scanning system on the trash bin that works seamlessly with the dedicated app, Garbage All Knows, which is primarily categorized into four main sections: Photo Recognition, Voice Search, Recent Recordings, and All Classification. This holistic approach enables everyone to excel at waste separation, protect our environment, and contribute to a sustainable future.

Viewing it from the top, you can observe its internal structure, which is divided into three smaller compartments. Within the primary compartment on the right, there is also a dedicated small kitchen waste bin, distinguished by its environmentally friendly green color.

In terms of color, I chose the warm tone, which is more in line with the aesthetics of people today and more matching with the decoration style of the family.
