The ability to walk upright and possess flexible limbs appears to be the primary factor that sets humans apart from other creatures. However, I've always felt that while the human body empowers us to dominate the planet, it also constrains us. Factors such as disease, nutrition, food, and water all play significant roles in influencing the well-being of our bodies.

Highly commended project: Junk

Apparatus hero image

My apparatus will be housed in a pavilion, specifically the Black Chapel, an entirely black cylindrical building standing at a height of 10 meters. Within the pavilion and the apparatus, I've incorporated a spiral staircase, a dimly lit one that people will ascend upon entering the building to don the apparatus. I've designed this space to encourage individuals to reflect on the pleasurable eating experience facilitated by the apparatus.
