As a modernist Spatial designer passionate about researching social systems and sustainable development, my design philosophy focuses on creating scientifically personalized architecture through space and structure. Looking to the future, my final design goal is to utilize 3D printing technology to construct a lunar habitat situated within a moon crater, employing triangular pyramids and semi-circular structures. This lunar habitat aims to help humanity build a new social system that emphasizes cooperation, unity, and the cultivation of greenery.

Lunar Unity

In the next century, the Earth plunged into the most extensive nuclear conflict in history, inflicting catastrophic damage on life. In the wake of this catastrophe, leaders of nations worldwide declared a ceasefire, uniting to confront an Earth that had become irreparably scarred. To ensure the continuation of human civilization, they made a collective decision to venture into space in search of a new home. Forty-eight experts from various fields, armed with cutting-edge 3D printing technology, embarked on a journey to the Aristarchus Crater in the northwest region of the Moon, with the mission to establish a brand-new civilization in the distant cosmos.

Section View

The section illustrates the living quarters where residents reside. These living quarters consist of two levels, and within each triangular structure, there are two spherical living spaces, with each sphere containing two rooms. The second part showcases the greenery area located above the triangular structures. This area is dedicated to growing plants and willow trees, serving as subjects of study for small groups within each structure. The third part represents the corridor and passageway area where people can navigate by jumping from one section to another. The fourth part features the waste recycling zone situated in the lowermost part of the structure.

Walking Path

Walking Path to show how the people walking in the Living Space. Habitat corridors are designed with responsive luminous panels that mark the spots where jumps are taken, adding an element of enjoyment to the habitat.

Playground

An entertainment center where people can walk or engage in jumping competitions. The ground of the entertainment center also features interactive light-sensitive flooring. When people make contact with the floor, it emits colorful circles of light.

Floor Plan For Large Event Area

This is the floor plan for a large event area. In the upper left corner, you'll find the conference room, while the upper right corner houses the medical facility. The lower left area is designated for recreational activities, and the lower right area is the reading room. The green space in between serves as an intermingling plant area, with an elevator in the center providing direct access to the underground facilities.

Greenery Layer

This is a greenery layer situated on the surface of the lunar crater's rim, featuring the cultivation of willow trees and other hardy plants.
