As an emerging designer, my practice centers on the study of lunar habitation, habitats, and lifestyles. CAVE OF TOMORROW is a visionary lunar habitat set 100 years in the future, dedicated to advancing living conditions on the Moon. It addresses the challenges of lunar habitation, including the layout and design of gravity-less indoor living spaces. This sustainable lunar habitat offers a secure and functional living and working environment. My projects blend lunar spatial considerations with the need for human engagement and participation in daily lunar life. The aim is to pioneer innovative solutions for a sustainable lunar presence.

CAVE OF TOMORROW (Section)

Due to the destruction of nature and the rise of sea level, the earth's resources and public space are less and less, rich people in order to improve the quality of life and do not want to be troubled by the limited resources of the Earth choose to move to the habitat on the moon in 100 years. In my design, based on the actual conditions, I built the habitat to the ground to protect it from the damage of meteorites and ultraviolet rays, and at the same time gave my own ideas about the necessary resources for people's life and the design of the living conditions without gravity.

Living quarter(Section)

I designed the living quarter to be oval shaped with UV resistant glass on top, and the habitat's system allows the entire living quarter to fly to the lunar surface for viewing. The movement of people in this space is from the bottom up, and people can easily use 3d elastic rope to assist the access to different areas.

Sunbathing

Indoor sunbathing area, where people can feel the sun and be protected from radiation.

Gym

The facilities in the gym are designed based on the daily actions of people on the moon. Basic training about climbing, grasping, hanging.

health care

The health care area utilizes the most advanced medical equipment to examine the whole body and quickly heal and close the wound.

Plant

The planting area use the right artificial lights and temperatures as well as water and containers to grow edible greens.
