Ellen Chick is a multi-disciplinary designer from Naarm, whose focus is on providing a critical lens to address cultural, political and social issues through architectural/design outcomes that challenge people's perceptions and provoke thought and curiosity.

ATARA Perfumerie represents a perfect symbiosis of art, community & teaching. Engaging with local makers, the store diverges from a typical retail experience & invites people in to experience the space like a gallery. The perfumerie connects with the local arts community, holds gallery exhibitions, has an artist in residency room & has a retail store.The inclusion of a workshop space is available to those who are interested in casting and moulding their own packaging. This inclusion allows for customisation of the product &, again, engages back into the local arts community.
