My practice is predominantly centred around the use of found objects that may be considered by most as detritus. These overlooked objects are often present through photography, and supported by painting and mark-making. I’m particularly interested in themes of connection. Connection to loved ones that may be absent or distant as well as strangers. I hold a curiosity for moments of chance and coincidence. The relationships with my work and the space in which it exists is a reoccurring consideration throughout my practice.
