The Living Library is a project focused on the research and exploration of ecological vegetation classes and the native flora and fauna specific to the site that is located Glen Waverley. The design of both the library and its surrounding landscape is structured to support community engagement through various programs, while also fostering interactions between humans and the animals, creating opportunities for shared spaces where these encounters can occur naturally. This environment not only facilitates passive observation of the native flora and fauna but also serves as an educational tool, offering insights into animal behaviour and seasonal ecological patterns.
