I love hands-on creative work and strive to create impactful, conceptual designs with refined results. My design process builds on a deep visual language that aims to connect ideas with people on an emotional level. While communication design has been a central focus of my academic journey, I also enjoy exploring other creative disciplines such as painting and 3D modelling.

For this project, I focus on the topic of bedtime procrastination. By using a Design Research Kit (DRK) to gather data, I aim to develop a campaign that effectively addresses this issue by integrating both physical and digital elements.

Phone Keeper Calendar

The phone keeper calendar is a bedside accessory that helps reduce phone usage before bed and improve sleep habits. Users place their phone in the box, which acts as a 'phone bed.' The calendar on top offers monthly sleep tips to guide better bedtime routines. Combined with a connected app that tracks phone-free time and provides reminders, it encourages disconnection and promotes healthier sleep habits.

Calendar

The calendar is designed with minimalistic illustrations using two colours and basic shapes. Each month features a themed illustration paired with practical sleep advice listed at the bottom of the page. This advice is thoughtfully chosen to match the month’s theme, guiding users toward better bedtime routines.

Social Media

The Instagram posts use the same minimalistic style as the calendar. Each post shares practical sleep tips, quotes, reminders, and promotional content to help users build better bedtime routines. The content is designed to be clear, engaging, and supportive, promoting the campaign's mission of healthier sleep habits.

Design Research Kits

My DRK (Design Research Kit) is an interactive, playful set designed to collect data about bedtime procrastination. It explored participants' awareness and habits before bed. The DRK is shaped like a bed sheet and includes emotion stickers, prompts, and drawing activities to make the experience more engaging.

SleepWise App

The app offers sleep reminders, calming sounds, and tips. It connects to the phone keeper calendar, which detects when users place their phone inside, recording and tracking their phone-free time to help build consistent habits and support better sleep.

Infographic Poster

The infographic poster shows how many hours people go to bed later than intended and the reasons for their procrastination. It also illustrates the impact of these delays on sleep quality and overall well-being.
