I’m an industrial designer based in Melbourne, Australia, specializing in creating homeware products that seamlessly blend functionality, aesthetics, and user experience. My passion lies in crafting ceramics that marry traditional craftsmanship with modern design techniques, resulting in pieces that are both timeless and innovative. I approach design with a hands-on, iterative process, continuously refining ideas through prototyping and experimentation.

Horizon Ceramics

Horizon Ceramics conveys the endless possibilities of design. Much like the horizon symbolizes new beginnings and expansive views, the brand embodies innovative and thoughtful creations that cater to diverse needs, fostering creativity and inclusivity in every piece.

Target Audience

The Horizon Mug was crafted for individuals with mobility challenges, providing ease and confidence in public spaces.

Why

Traditional drinkware often overlooks diverse needs,
while many adaptive options lack aesthetic appeal. The
Horizon Mug combines style and functionality, helping
users have a sense of confidence and security in public
without making them stand out.

Aesthetic

Aesthetic appeal is often overlooked in adaptive tools, which can make users feel isolated. The Horizon Mug was designed to be both comfortable and visually appealing, ensuring users feel at ease and don’t stand out when using it.

Form

The mug’s design draws inspiration from a traditional children’s sippy cup, featuring two handles for stability and a lid to prevent spills.
