Monash Art, Design and Architecture Graduate Exhibition 2024

A passionate designer experienced in problem-solving, creating meaningful spaces, and a solid foundation in spatial design, including 3D modeling and interior design specifications. Throughout the years, I’ve also expanded my expertise in digital design and UI/UX for mobile and web platforms.

Design, for me, is a form of self-expression. I am committed to creating designs that are not only functional but also deeply expressive, reflecting the individuality of their users. I believe that great design comes from collaboration, within a team or directly with clients.

Best in Studio: Collaborative Design

ICE TIME Pop-up Exhibition | SAEF’s Reasons to Care

This Collaborative Design Studio project, in partnership with SAEF, focuses on the design and branding of a pop-up exhibition. Created for a compact area, the exhibit prioritizes sustainable design with detachable structures for reusability. ICE TIME was developed around the concept of Antarctica’s past and future insights, building on the idea of ice cores as time capsules that preserve natural history within frozen bubbles. Visitors are led through a journey within an immersive “bubble” space, representing the timeline of Antarctica’s past and future. Hoping to inspire reflection, “popping” the metaphorical bubble of ignorance about climate change, Antarctica, and the earth’s future.

PLESTER | NGO Branding and Shelter Design

The name “PLESTER” comes from the Manadonese word for “bandage,” symbolizing resilience and relief for those affected by natural disasters. Like a bandage, it may not erase the scars of tragedy, but it aims to stop further harm, aid recovery, and support the healing process. The objective is to design an emergency shelter that promotes self-recovery, paired with the creation of a new NGO brand. PLESTER’s disaster response and recovery model centers on a “Transitional Self-built Growing Shelter,” rooted in a modular, self-build concept. The design draws inspiration from the traditional Rumah Panggung houses of Manado, Indonesia, for a culturally sensitive approach.

Healthy MonstAR | Children’s Digital Food Diary Mobile App

This project, under the Interactive Design Studio, involves creating a children’s food diary mobile app alongside a corresponding website. Targeted specifically at children, Healthy MonstAR is designed to be fun, engaging, and easily navigated. The app’s interactive feature allows kids to “grow” their MonstAR character by making healthier food choices, while its main function is AR-based meal analysis for tracking in the food diary. The app also includes a monitoring function for parents and teachers on linked devices, along with a social feature to share the MonstAR journey. The project encompassed user research, interface design, prototyping, and user testing.

Rainbow Serpent Festival | Brand Identity Redesign

This project, from the first semester’s Design Technologies and Processes course, focuses on redesigning the brand identity for the Rainbow Serpent Festival—a vibrant music, arts, and lifestyle community centered on connection, creativity, and growth.

The festival values are:
CREATE · CONNECT · GROW

The logo integrates these values with shapes like a triangle/snake head(symbolizing balance and strength), water hole, light symbol, and snake tongue/grass, inspired by Australian Aboriginal art with personal interpretations. The color palette, “Dusk to Dawn,” reflects the Rainbow Serpent folktale of life creation, reversing to a festival “dawn” as the mythical serpent retreats.

Steamer’s Freedom | 3D Modeling and Virtual Space

One of my personal favorites, this project explores storytelling through the perspective of a “dead” object. The brief required a realistic 3D model of an everyday item, leaving creative freedom for the animated rendering. The animation brings life to a mundane object, and to take it to another level, adds an emotional twist. Through Steamer’s Freedom, I aimed to capture the irony of futility: an object longing for freedom yet endlessly returned to its unused state. Played on a loop, then the animation symbolizes how freedom can feel unreachable, especially for things (or people) left unfulfilled.
