Hello, I'm Rhea Babaji. Creative, curious, and empathetic, I am a UI/UX designer driven by the mission to create impactful and aesthetically pleasing designs that enhance user experiences and address real-world challenges. My journey began with my computer science degree, where I discovered a passion for design. This passion has guided my career, from volunteering in university clubs to securing internships at CubeBio AI, joining Amoga, where I gained experience in UI creation, data analysis, and design systems and then pursuing a Master of Design at Monash. My values of open communication, honesty, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work are central to my approach as a designer.

App Redesign

This project is a redesign of a meal-tracking app, aimed at enhancing user experience through vibrant visuals and playful interactions. The interface encourages healthy habits by gamifying daily nutrition tracking: as users log meals, an egg fills with stars, eventually hatching into a chick as a reward for meeting goals. With a clean style guide, intuitive icons, and engaging feedback, this design motivates users to track their health journey with ease and enjoyment.

Personal Dashboard Design

This project is a personalized dashboard design focused on health and lifestyle management. It tracks daily activities like water intake, steps, vitals, mood, reading, and anime, creating an all-in-one space for users to stay on top of their routines. Inspired by neo-brutalism, the design combines bold typography, customizable themes, and a responsive layout across devices, making it visually striking and highly functional. The dashboard fosters motivation and helps users manage both physical health and personal interests with ease and enjoyment.

Future Shopping Experiences- McD

This project envisions a user-centered design for McDonald's, tailored to senior international customers. The concept includes adjustable kiosks for users of different heights and abilities, positioned for easy staff assistance. Footsteps and markers guide customers to the counter, while face recognition technology greets returning customers by name and recalls their order history, bridging language barriers and fostering familiarity. Customers can input dietary restrictions and receive personalized meal suggestions, along with local specialties that align with their preferences from other countries.

Podio: A Speculative Service and Application with Embedded AI

Podio is an innovative AI-driven sleep and wellness solution designed to enhance relaxation, manage health, and provide companionship. Transforming from a compact, friendly robot into a soft, inflatable pod using futuristic materials , Podio tailors the sleep environment to users' needs, offering customisable temperature, gentle massage, and real-time health monitoring. With voice interaction and app-based controls, Podio adapts to support individuals seeking improved sleep quality, relief from chronic pain, and emotional comfort, making it a versatile companion for those living alone and of old age.
