Experiential Journey through Melbourne Zoo

This map showcases an experiential journey through Melbourne Zoo, highlighting how its design deepens visitor interaction and emotional connection. I observed visual features like signage, decor, and tactile elements, with animal footprints enhancing immersion and creating a sense of walking alongside the animals. Clever spatial layouts bring people and animals closer. Considering how children might engage more deeply, I noted that tactile interactions enhance perception. I combined texture samples with animal textures to emphasize the enriching role of touch.
