I also enjoy creating across various design materials such as brand identity, social media, editorial design, print based applications and more. My project ‘Invest in Antarctica’ aims to encourage primary school students to change daily habits in order to lower carbon emissions. Through a campaign based outcome, 'Invest in Antarctica' ultimately intends to bring awareness to the importance of our ice-covered neighbour and why we should care.
Invest in Antarctica - Motion Campaign

Targeted towards an audience between the ages of 5-10, the motion graphic is intended to be shown during school, whether at an assembly or in class. The video has a hopeful and light tone, as to facilitate a positive and encouraged reaction in the viewer to begin changing small daily habits, instead of using a shock or scare tactic. The illustrative style of the video was purposeful, as to be a recognisable style of the campaign "Invest in Antarctica", as well as to be able to transfer onto other applications such as posters.

The following posters are examples of the illustrative style of the "Invest in Antarctica - Motion Campaign" applied to a different medium. Due to targeting a younger audience, the posters do not have too many words, and include images that are recognisable from the motion graphic. The illustrative style of the posters work cohesively in the primary school setting, and are intended to be placed in areas that correspond with its context. For example, if the content of the poster is reminding the viewer to switch off lights, the poster could be hung by the exit/entrance of a classroom.

"Delightful Temptations" is a new flavoured snack bar line by NutriChoc. They required a 30-sec advertisement to promote its release. It's aimed toward those who want to enjoy something sweet, but don't want to feel the guilt after. The bright but natural colours reflect the ingredients found in the bar, however are also intended to attract the attention of the viewer. This project allowed me to play further with smoothing animations, and introduced me to using After Effects' 3D features, which I had previously very brief experience in.

As a part of NutriChoc's brief in creating advertising to promote their new snack bar flavour, I was also tasked with creating a stylescape. Instead of designing a full brand guideline, creating a 'stylescape' is a great way to showcase the entirety of the "Delightful Temptations" look and overall mood. It includes what typography, colours and imagery is used, as well as how the product might present itself on applications such as a phone screen.
Delightful Temptations - Phone Advertisement

Along with advertisement fit for a computer or TV screen, NutriChoc required a promotional video of "Delightful Temptations" able to be viewed on a phone screen. The brief indicated that the 10 second video should include footage of people enjoying the snack, and the ingredients found in the bar.
