Monash Art, Design and Architecture Graduate Exhibition 2024

The work I create focuses primarily on culture and upbringing, with a heavy emphasis on traditional garments and jewellery. My work explores themes of identity, with patterns and stitchings inspired by my South Asian ancestry.

Untitled 1 is a collection of 3 works which are configurations of traditional South Asian Sarees. Made up of acrylic paints and embroidery thread on unstretched canvas, these works showcase the various elements that make up a Saree.
