Hi, I’m Yael Franck - a recent communication design graduate who loves bringing bright, playful, and thoughtful ideas to life. I’m passionate about creating designs that feel both unique and beautiful, whether I'm working on brand identities, motion graphics, or illustration. I’m constantly challenging myself to try new techniques and explore different media. I enjoy the challenge of new projects which encourages me to push my skills further.
OUT OF THE BLUE | DRK
The Design Research Kit informed Out of the Blue by exploring people’s emotional wellbeing across the seasons. Through interactive prompts and visual mapping, it revealed key themes that shaped the project’s focus on education, awareness, and self-care.
OUT OF THE BLUE | WEBSITE
The campaign’s website is an educational platform designed to raise awareness about seasonal wellbeing and support users through the changing months. It offers guidance and interactive tools to help users understand seasonal patterns and reflect on their wellbeing.
OUT OF THE BLUE | SOCIAL MEDIA
The social media campaign extends Out of the Blue’s message into everyday spaces through engaging posts and wellbeing tips, reinforcing the project’s focus on awareness, education, and gentle motivation.
OUT OF THE BLUE | POSTER SERIES
The poster series was created as a secondary outcome to extend the project beyond the digital space. The QR code link directly to the website, encouraging public engagement and accessibility. The posters promote awareness of seasonal wellbeing and invite people to explore practical tools and resources online.
PATCH | CHILDREN’S GARDENING KIT
Patch is a hands-on gardening kit designed for children aged 5–7 to encourage independence, curiosity, and a connection to nature. The kit includes a handmade plywood box with seed packets, soil pellets, and playful learning materials that support sensory-rich, exploratory experiences. Centered on the theme of growth - both of plants and the child’s sense of responsibility - Patch uses soft colours, hand-drawn illustrations, and a gentle tone to make learning feel nurturing, joyful, and accessible.
PATCH | CHILDREN’S GARDENING KIT
Each element of Patch is thoughtfully curated to support hands-on learning, featuring playful, colourful illustrations, simple tools for young children, and a teaching guide for parents or caregivers. The kit’s clear instructions encourage independence while making exploration and learning fun and accessible.
