Outstanding Project: Future Communications

Counter-Narrative: Conversion Therapy

This publication investigates the misinformation surrounding Conversion Therapy in the modern day. Instead of fact-checking, it creates a counter-narrative using the same persuasive techniques that made this cruel pseudo-scientific practice appear credible and authoritative in the first place. Along with re-adapting and re-contextualising the editorial aesthetics, the project urges readers to question how trust is manufactured through form as much as through content.

lost 'n found

lost ’n found is a digital-print platform that collects and shares personal stories about cultural identity, belonging, and connection. lost 'n found zine

The zine is the physical counterpart of the online archive. Once enough stories have been collected, they will be curated and published in periodic issues, which offers a more tactile, intimate and personal way to engage with the content.

Gast Serif

Gast Serif is a condensed display typeface, inspired by the hard techno genre. It blends together the condensed form and sharp-edged serifs of underground rave typography and the thin weight and stripped-down design of contemporary hard techno promotional materials. Gast carries the soul of hard techno: raw, gritty, aggressive but minimal and structured.

Book (01)

Book (01) is a reflexive publication. It actively makes known its existence and construction, interrupting the usual immersive reading experience through interactivity and its "speaking" at the readers. Its content follows the idea of loose association, diverging through separate but loosely connected topics, ideas, objects, and artifacts.
