Lumina is a home-wide system of ceiling-mounted lights designed to support people with dementia by using targeted light projections. As dementia progresses, patients may struggle to recognise rooms or locate everyday items, increasing reliance on carers. Lumina reduces this burden by guiding users through their home and helping them find misplaced objects. Each unit projects arrows or spotlights to lead users to rooms or items, maintaining independence while preserving the familiarity of their existing light fixtures.
