As a student of industrial design, I like to experiment with concepts using 3D models and real prototypes. My work focuses on how design may address practical issues, ranging from material behavior and functioning to the emotional impact of use. I find it fascinating how minor design elements may have a big impact on day-to-day living.

Floating Emergency Purifier

The Floating Emergency Purifier is a water filtering system made for areas that frequently flood, where having access to clean water becomes essential. It runs purely on buoyancy and gravity and doesn't use any electricity. The apparatus floats as floodwaters rise and starts filtering tainted water automatically through sand, zeolite, and activated carbon layers. To avoid overflow, an integrated floating valve system controls inflow and stops the water when it is full. Made of light transparent PVC, the purifier embodies simplicity, adaptability, and durability in emergency design by expanding during floods and folding flat when not in use.

Thinking Through Making ( Dust Jacket )

This dust jacket reflects my view of design, which is the process of forming links between concepts, resources, and individuals. Form and detail capture the hands-on process that influences my work, where computer modeling and physical creation blend into one.
