I am an industrial designer from Monash university, since my early age i was always exposed to the world of design, my father is also a designer who would always point out good designs anywhere. At Monash university i learned to hone my skills as a designer and i found my own design that i could be proud of, this not only advanced my technical skills but also the way i think and see things from a designers point of view.
NAVI ARC
NaviArc is an innovative design project, focused on improving navigation and safety for the urban cyclist by developing a curved, helmet attached device. This project was born from a pressing need of the dangers that handlebar mounted smartphone based navigation presents, often forcing a rider into unsafe postures and distracting their attention from the road. NaviArc, inspired by first hand user insights and ergonomic principles, proposes a seamless "hands off" navigation solution compatible with leading cycling apps like Strava and Google Maps. The conceptual development was based on human centered wayfinding and wearable technology trends.
