This project is a suspense-themed opening sequence that explores the interplay of light, shadow, and silhouette to build a tense and cinematic mood. Created in After Effects, it integrates AI-generated music and short silhouette footage to enhance emotional rhythm and visual atmosphere. The combination of motion design and generative techniques creates a layered sense of mystery, guiding viewers into a noir-inspired world where light and darkness subtly reveal the story beneath.
“Ohmag” is a playful reimagining of the word “OMG,” designed as a dating app that celebrates connection and inclusivity. From logo design to illustration and mock-ups, every element was created by me. The visuals feature cute, expressive, and inclusive illustrations that highlight the app’s friendly and open nature — whether users are looking for friendship or love. The overall aesthetic combines warmth and joy, inviting people to connect in an authentic and lighthearted way.
Red Thread
Red Thread is a personal animation that explores the emotional bond between grandparents and grandchild. Everyone has someone deeply important in their life, yet growing up often means learning to face separation. In this story, the invisible thread that connects people — like a red string — stretches with time, until one day it breaks, no matter how hard we try to hold on. Still, the connection transforms into memory, quietly remaining in our hearts forever.
In the spirit of reconciliation Monash University acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
